By the time we picked our first dance song, our wedding was only 1 month away! On top of that, we chose a sweet John Cash and June Carter song, which neither of us was entirely sure how to dance to. John helped us choreograph a dance we were both comfortable with. I should also add that while wedding planning can get a little tense at times, taking an hour to simply dance with your partner is a huge blessing! Thanks John, for your patience and kind guidance! We loved working with you!

My husband and I enjoyed taking lessons from John and Dee. We received many compliments on our first dance. John and Dee kept us in step and helped us to find a dance that is as unique as we are.

The folks at Studio One did an awesome job preparing us for our first dance. We took the Wedding Crash Course and had so much fun preparing for our dance. It was a great experience and it was absolutely worth it. The instructors are very patient and personable. You start withgroup lessons but they take the time and help you individually during those lessons. We learned so much and were able to really make our dance work for us and the vision we had in mind. I felt an enormous sense of relief walking in for our first dance knowing that we were married and it was time to really relax and enjoy the party! Once we made it to the dance floor, we were surrounded by the love and energy of our guests and we could tell that they were enjoying our “performance.” Thanks to Studio One (and lots of practice) we felt confident dancing in front of 180+ people.

We took our dance lessons using a groupon. We had 3 group lessons and a private lesson. They were fantastic, and had us twirling on the dance floor in no time. We actually started our lessons 3 weeks before our wedding, and our first dance was perfect. We got a ton of compliments. The teachers are patient and will demonstrate a move as many times as you need to learn it.
